Are you my type??

Blood type that is… If you’re a blood type A or O… you might be a kidney donor match for me! (The Positive or negative doesn’t matter)

Hi, my name is Rachel. I’m 31 years old and have been on dialysis for over a year. I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2016 and currently awaiting a kidney transplant.

How can you help? Please consider being a donor by sharing your spare! (you only need one kidney!) To be a donor, first check the list to see if you qualify (if you are in doubt about anything please call Rush as ask):
  • Be a non-smoker
  • No history of high blood pressure, illness, drug or alcohol abuse
To move onto the next step and be tested as a donor please contact: Rush University Medical Transplant Program at 312-947-4438. If no one answers please leave a message and they should get back to you. Also you can apply on line below by clicking on the "Living Donor - Rush" link.
